Facial balancing is a specialized approach used by our skilled nurse injectors, April Daniel and Hayley Peña, to harmonize and refine your facial appearance. We understand that achieving facial symmetry and proportion is important for our patients, and we tailor each treatment to enhance your unique features. It’s important that facial balancing is performed by a skilled practitioner, and here at The Piazza Center, all of our injectors are registered nurses and certified to perform these services with Allergan and Galderma.
What is Facial Balancing?
Facial balancing involves the strategic use of dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Voluma to create a more harmonious and proportionate facial appearance. Our injectors customize treatments based on your facial structure and desired outcomes, targeting specific areas that may benefit from volume enhancement.
The art of full facial assessment for facial balancing leverages knowledge of facial anatomy and the aging process to identify areas that may benefit from nonsurgical interventions.
Understanding how facial structures change over time helps our practitioners tailor treatments to restore balance and harmony to the face.
Why Choose Facial Balancing?
People seek facial balancing treatments to address concerns with facial symmetry, proportions, or specific features like the lips, cheeks, chin, or jawline. Whether it's enhancing a profile, refining contours, or achieving a more youthful appearance, facial balancing can help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

How is Facial Balancing Performed?
Facial balancing is an investment and before we begin injecting and any procedure. Our team of experts will consult with you on your areas of concern and needs. After that, our Nurse injectors will develop a comprehensive plan for you to review based on their recommendation, with pricing transparency as well. After that plan is approved, a session is booked and can be performed the same day the comprehensive plan is approved.
Based on the patient's unique anatomy and concerns, dermal fillers such as Volux, Voluma, Juvederm, and Restylane, along with bio stimulators such as Sculptra and Radiesse, are used strategically to restore volume loss or create a more contoured and harmonized face globally.
- Lips (Restylane, Juvederm)
- Cheeks (Voluma)
- Chin (Kybella, Restylane, Juvederm)
- Jawline and to Smooth Fine Lines and Wrinkles (Restylane Lyft or Botox/Dysport)
- Under Eyes (Restylane)
- Each session is personalized to achieve optimal facial balance and harmony.

How Botox and/or Dysport Complements Facial Balancing
Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that can complement facial balancing by targeting dynamic wrinkles and enhancing facial contours. These treatments are commonly used to:
- Define and slim the jawline: Botox/Dysport injections along the jawline can soften the appearance of a square jaw or reduce jaw muscle bulk for a more refined profile.
- Lift the brows: Strategic injections can lift drooping brows, creating a more alert and rejuvenated appearance.
- Improve asymmetries of the face
- Smooth lines and crow's feet: Botox/Dysport injections relax muscles responsible for wrinkles, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin.
- Our injectors will customize a treatment plan that may include Botox or Dysport to enhance the overall results of your facial balancing procedure.
Integration of Sculptra for Collagen Stimulation
In addition to traditional dermal fillers, such as Restylane and Juvederm, we offer Sculptra—a unique treatment that stimulates collagen production over time. Sculptra is ideal for enhancing facial volume and improving skin texture, promoting a natural, gradual improvement in facial contours. Our injectors may integrate Sculptra into your facial balancing plan to achieve long-lasting results and restore youthful fullness.
Duration of Results
Full facial balancing results can last several years after the first year of treatments is completed, depending on the type of filler used and the treated area. Certain areas, such as tear troughs and lips, may need to be treated more often. Our team will discuss expected longevity and potential touch-up treatments during your consultation.
Facial Balancing To Combat Facial Hollowing From GLP-1s, Ozempic, Tirzepatide and Semaglutide
Facial hollowing (also called Ozempic Face) resulting from the use of Ozempic, a GLP-1 medication, can be effectively addressed through the use of fillers such as hyaluronic acid and Sculptra. These treatments involve strategically injecting fillers into areas of volume loss, such as the cheeks, temples, and under-eye area, to restore lost volume and improve facial symmetry. Hyaluronic acid fillers provide immediate results by plumping up targeted areas, while Sculptra stimulates collagen production over time, leading to gradual and natural-looking volumization. A customized treatment plan tailored to individual facial anatomy and aesthetic goals is essential for achieving optimal results. Regular maintenance sessions may be necessary to sustain the effects of these treatments.
Facial Balancing Cost
Facial balancing is an investment. Costs for facial balancing vary based on the type and quantity of fillers used and the number of treatment areas. As an example, a syringe of Voluma typically costs $1,200. During your consultation, our team will provide a personalized estimate based on your treatment plan.
