When my patients come in to see me about having a cosmetic procedure, it can be for a number of reasons. Lately, I’ve seen quite a few folks who are re-entering the job market and want to turn back the clock.
Most of my patients know how to dress for success for a job interview. But many of my patients/job seekers are taking it to the next level by getting plastic surgery or having cosmetic procedures to get that extra competitive edge. Some have cosmetic surgery to enhance their shape in their clothes such as liposuction and other body contouring procedures. Others may choose to have a facelift or eyelid surgery which can improve self-esteem and self-confidence. But most request other, nonsurgical procedures that erase wrinkles like BOTOX® in Austin or dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM®.
Many of these men and women do this to compete with the younger generations of fresh undergraduate and graduates on the job hunt and want to present a “fresh face” to their potential employers.
