Case Details

This 43-year-old petite and active mother of two wanted to treat the excess fullness that she felt most over the side of her pants and skirts. She visited in consultation with Dr. Piazza in Austin about liposuction contouring of the lower back area. He explained that this procedure will allow her to notice an improved contour at 6 weeks after surgery with strict compression garment use during this time, but that her result would continue to get even better toward the 3-6 month time frame after surgery.  He stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and participating in a regular exercise routine to maintain long-lasting results. 

Dr. Piazza performed liposuction of this region to contour the lower back area, which improved the appearance of her back creating a more elegant appearance to this area.  She wore a compression garment for 6 weeks and is depicted here at her 6-week post-op visit.
