Case Details
Patient is a 40-year-old female who tested BRCA positive in May, 2016. She was referred to meet with Dr. Piazza for consultation on prophylactic mastectomy breast reconstruction to consult about his innovative prepectoral procedure to help give her the best aesthetic and natural looking outcome. At this time, they also discussed the exchange of her saline implants she had placed in 1999 to a more reliable Natrelle Insipra silicone-gel implant. The decision to move forward not only came from her positive BCRA result, but multiple close relatives as well testing positive. She felt Dr. Piazza very reassuring and made the process easy. With having 3 younger children, these are important qualities when choosing a physician and not just the aesthetic outcome. She was pleasant surprised Dr. Piazza was able to provide comfort along an amazing aesthetic look.
